CARDS IN GENERAL

Q: How can I find the right card to fit the occasion I’m looking for?
A: There are three main ways to find the right card. They are as follows:

1. If it is a holiday (i.e. Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.) click on the word ‘Holiday’ which is located toward the top of the page. Once you click on ‘Holiday’ a calendar listing all the holidays we have in our catalogue will appear. Simply click on the holiday you are interested in and you will see all the cards we have for that particular holiday.

2. The next option can be found on the left hand side of the home page under ‘Choose an Occasion.’ We have about 100 occasions to choose from. When you click on the appropriate occasion you will find all the cards we have for that specific occasion. Within the occasion you have chosen you will see a box where you can ‘Refine your Selection.’ Click here and you will find Sub-Categories (assuming we have added more specific choices for that occasion). As an example, if you choose ‘Work’ you will find over 20 Sub-Categories under ‘Refine your Selection.’ Sub-Categories such as ’10 year anniversary,’ ‘colleagues,’ ‘interview,’ ‘office romance,’ to name but a few. Please note: ‘Choose an Occasion’ is available on all other pages but is found toward the top of the page as a drop down menu.

3. You can also utilize the ‘search’ function that can be found toward the top of each page. Simply type in a key word or phrase and all the cards associated with that key word or phrase will appear. As an example, if you type ‘Basketball’ all the cards in our catalogue that have a basketball theme will appear.

Q: How do I modify the wording on a card?
A: Once you page thru a card (clicking on the forward arrow) you will get to a check mark that has written under it ‘Choose this Card!’ Simply click on the check mark and you will be taken to the first page of that card.
If there are any words you want to change, simply click on the word (s) and a blue box will appear around the entire dialogue box. You can now modify any of the words within that blue box. It is important you stay within the blue box as any words that fall below the bottom of the box will not be seen by the person receiving the card. Once you are happy with the wording, click on the forward button and any modification you have made will be saved.

Q: After the ‘Personal Message’ within the card, the next page states ‘Giving a Gift?’ However, I don’t see any gift card options like ‘Amazon’ or ‘Best Buy.’ Can I send an actual retail type of gift card?
A: Currently, we do not offer the feature of choosing a monetary gift card to be sent. However, you can describe the gift you are giving and or upload a picture of that gift.

Q: What if I’m not giving a gift? Can I skip this section?
A: Yes, you can skip this section by clicking on the forward arrow.

Q: What if I get to the end of the card and want to change the wording on one of the previous pages. Can I do that?
A: Yes you can. You simply need to click on the back arrow (to the left of the page) and when you get to the section you want to change, simply click on that section and the blue box will appear again. You can then proceed with making any changes that you would like to make.

Q: What if I stumble upon a card I really like but I’m not ready to send it. How can I find that card again?
A: There is a button in the lower right hand side of the screen that states ‘save for future connections.’ Simply click on this button and the card you are currently viewing will be saved in ‘My O-Zone.’ When you are ready to send this card, simply go to ‘My O-Zone’ and you will see a bar toward the middle of the page that reads, ‘Future Connections.’ Click on this bar and you will find the card (s) you have saved.

Q: Some of the cards have, in the upper right hand corner, a blue/white icon of a camera. What does this mean?
A: The camera icon indicates you can upload a picture.

Q: If I upload a picture, can I move that picture around or size it?
A: When you want to upload a picture you have two options. The first is ‘portrait’ and the second is ‘landscape.’ There is a toggle button in the upper left hand corner of the screen that allows you to toggle between these two options. When you upload your picture our system will automatically size it to the frame.

Q: If I receive a card with a photograph, can I save the photo to one of my desktop folders?
A: Yes, just drag the photo off the Ogreets card to the folder where you want it saved.

Q: Some of the cards have, in the upper right hand corner, ‘NEW’ in green and white. How long is a card considered new?
A: If the card has been published on our site for 30 or fewer days it is considered ‘new.’ Once it has been on the site for 31+ days the ‘NEW’ wording is removed.

INVITATIONS

Q: How do I find the right invitation?
A: Under ‘Choose an Occasion’ you will see ‘Invitations.’ Simply click on this word and you will be taken to our catalogue of Invitations. To find an invitation for a specific occasion click on ‘Refine your Selection’ and about 35 different occasions will appear (i.e. Baby Shower, Charity Event, Graduation Party, etc.).

Q: Is there a limit to the number of people I can send an invitation to?
A: You can send any invitation and or card to 500 email addresses and or phone numbers. If you need to send an invitation (or any other card) to more than 500 people please send a message to membership@ogreets.com per our terms and conditions (‘Spam Messaging’).

Q: What if I forgot to send an invitation to someone and I want to invite them now?
A: Go to ‘My O-zone,’ click on ‘Invitations I Sent,’ then click on the invitation you want to re-send and page thru to the end of the card. Once you are at the last page, click on the envelope icon (‘Send to more people’), add the person’s email address or phone number and click ‘send.’

Q: How do I keep track of the RSVPs?
A: There is a section in ‘My O-Zone’ entitled, ‘My Invitation RSVPs.’ Click on this bar and you will be taken to all the invitations you have sent. Choose the invitation you are tracking and you will see the list of all the people you have sent the invitation to and their response.

MY O-ZONE

Q: What is the purpose of ‘My O-Zone?’
A: At a high level, this is where you manage your Ogreets’ account. The key parts of ‘My O-zone’ are:
• Cards I sent – here you will find all the Ogreets cards you have ever sent.
• Cards I Received – here you will find all the Ogreets cards you have ever received.
• Invitations I Sent – here you will find all the Ogreets invitations you have ever sent. You can also resend an invitation by clicking on any the invitations in this section.
• Future Connections – if you find a card that you like but are not ready to send (maybe a birthday card to be sent in two months) when you click on ‘Save for Future Connections’ for that specific card, you will find that card here.
• My Profile – Your name, email address, phone number and subscription updates are managed in this section.
• My Reminders – so you never forget a special occasion you can create a reminder by adding the reminder name, the date, and how you would like to be reminded (i.e. on site, email, sms, etc.).
• My Invitations – this is where you keep track of the RSVPs for all the invitations you have sent
• My contacts – when you send an Ogreets card, the email address and or the phone number is captured in this section. You can update your contacts by modifying the ones that are already listed or create new ones.
• My Mailing list – this is a nice feature if you typically send (as an example) a holiday card to the same distribution every year. This way you don’t have to keep typing in the same email addresses/phone numbers every year. Instead, you can create the list of email addresses/phone numbers one time, save it, name it, and modify as you need to.

Q: How long are the cards I have sent and or received maintained in ‘My O-Zone.’
A: All cards are kept in ‘My O-Zone’ for an indefinite period of time.

Q: Can I print cards from ‘My O-zone?’
A: Yes but you need to convert it to a PDF first. If you click on any of the grey bars (cards I sent, cards I received, and invitations I sent) you will see the option ‘Download as PDF.’ Check the small white box in the upper right hand corner of the card you want to print. Click on ‘Download as PDF.’ Once you convert the card (s) into a PDF you are able to print the card in the PDF format.

Q: How can I make sure I’m not sending the same card to someone as I did last year (i.e. Birthday, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc.)?
A: If you go to ‘Cards I sent’ you will see an option ‘Search for cards Sent to:’ To the right of this you can click on ‘(Choose a person)’ and a drop down menu will appear with all the email addresses and phone numbers you have sent cards to. Simply click on the email address or phone number of the person in question, and you will see all the cards you have sent to that person previously.
